We had the opportunity to visit Montenegro when we were staying in Croatia. We took a day trip and drove around the Bay of Kotor and ended in the city of Kotor (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
It is an absolutely stunning area with beautiful scenery and I would highly recommend visiting the country either on a discreet holiday or like us on a trip from neighbouring Croatia.
I believe that Kotor is often a stop on cruise ships on their way up or down the Adriatic.
